A very early design from 1983. Signed and dated by Richard Golding. A wonderful bright iridescent blue with Aventurine glass giving the copper coloured pulled feather pattern. A stunning paperweight. |

These two photographs shows three paperweights in the ‘Loops’ design, the paperweight shown in the photographs at the top of this page is in the centre in these photos. The slight colour difference can be clearly seen to the paperweight on either side, the colour on the left-hand side is a lighter shade of blue, and the one on the right-hand side is slightly lighter with a purple hue. This shows the hand made individuality of each piece. |

The paperweight on the left-hand side is signed ‘Okra’ numbered 14 and dated 1983 and is complete with certificate describing the designer as Richard Golding and the Maker as Nicola Osbourne. The paperweight on the right-hand side is signed Okra numbered 49 and dated 1983. ‘Loops’ is a very bright and vibrant design with wonderful colours. |

The vase is just under six inches high and has a wide fluted top, the colours are very similar to the right-hand paperweight, and it is signed Okra, dated 1983 and numbered 18 on the base. |
