Trial Perfume Bottles Page 1

This trial perfume bottle has a main body of blue glass, around the shoulders of the bottle is an overlay pattern in black, white and iridescent blue and purple, pulled down in a swathed design from the neck. It stands 6.5 inches tall and is engraved Okra 97, T118, as well has having acid etched Okra and year mark.

An amethyst base glass is used in this piece, overlaying this are black hearts and vines, white flowers with silver centres are mixed in with the iridescent blue and gold finish. The bottle stands 5 inches high with it’s stopper, the base is engraved T119738 and has the acid etched Okra and the year mark. This piece is very like ‘Nightshade’ apart from the base glass colour being Amethyst instead of Blue, so it was possibly a trial for that design.

Possibly a Trial for an Ayrum design, brown and gold hearts over shades of green and silver, on a clear glass base with white casing. The stopper is also made from clear glass with a pearlized effect; it stands 7 inches high including the stopper. The base is acid etched Okra with its year mark.

A very unusual neck on this trial perfume bottle, being pulled up on one side and then turned back on its self with a centre groove. the base glass is blue. With a pulled feather pattern in iridescent blue, green, purple and gold, a clear glass stopper finishes of the perfume bottle. The base is engraved Okra and initialed DB as well as having the acid etched Okra and year mark.
